Phase 8.6 — Notifications, in one place
Right now the platform tells you things three different ways.
Some alerts arrive by email, some by push notification, some land in chat — and each one was set up separately, with its own account, its own configuration and its own idea of what counts as urgent. Nothing ties them together. Adding a new service means wiring up three integrations by hand and hoping none of them is quietly broken; changing where alerts go means editing them in three places.
The practical cost is not the effort, it is the silence. A channel that stops working does not announce itself, and the only way to notice is that something you expected never arrived.
What this phase does
- One place that decides what gets sent, to whom, and how urgently — so routing is a setting rather than three separate integrations.
- Every service reports through it, instead of each one carrying its own notification plumbing.
- The channels stay: email, push and chat all keep working. What changes is that they stop being configured independently.
- A delivery that fails becomes visible, rather than a message that simply never turns up.
No downtime, and nothing you currently receive stops arriving.
