Changelog

7.14.9.25 — September 2026

Services

  • Released scheduled configuration-drift and patching runs for the Raspberry Pi fleet, sequenced so the two can never overlap.
  • Released and documented A git-driven update-tracking system for the Pi and NAS fleet, replacing an unreliable auto-updater with a read-only notification safety net.
  • Deprecated The legacy in-runtime auto-updater for the fleet's Raspberry Pis and NAS devices, fully retired now that its replacement is live and stable.

Stability

  • Retrofitted every internal cache instance with network isolation and encrypted connections.
  • Fixed a certificate mismatch that could crash-loop encrypted internal cache connections on first enablement.
  • Added a package hold that keeps the self-hosted Git service at its pinned version during fleet patching instead of carrying it three minor series forward.
  • Fixed the nightly backup of the self-hosted Git service, which had been failing since the service moved to replacement hardware.
  • Fixed a silent update-management conflict on one NAS device that could revert a freshly applied fleet update overnight with no error or notification.

Documentation

  • Documentation of every Ansible role across both automation repositories, rebuilt from the roles themselves so platforms and variables match what actually runs.
