6.3.14.26 — August 2026
Services
- Released ThinkFeedback — formerly ThinkBugs, rebuilt on a new platform where feedback, bug reports, roadmap and changelog now live together at feedback.thinkhead.org, and added its documentation.
- Added a Changelog you can follow by email or RSS — you are told automatically when something you voted for ships, without having to check back.
- Added a public Roadmap that keeps itself up to date from the status of your feedback, so what is planned, in progress and already shipped is visible at a glance.
- Added sign-in with a Think Account on every compatible application; the unified login screen previously accepted Plex only. See the Plex migration.
- Added a Forgot username or password? link to the login page.
- Deprecated a leftover, unused sign-in path on ThinkShare that predated its migration from Pingvin Share; the way you log in is unchanged.
- Deprecated Keel, the legacy container auto-update mechanism, from every production service; image updates are consolidating onto a single modern mechanism.
- Migrated ThinkSearch and Whoogle onto our own deployment template, fixing a broken image-pull setting and a slow-start crash loop on Whoogle along the way.
- Migrated ThinkPasteBin onto our own deployment template as well; all existing pastes and their deletion links were preserved intact.
- Added documentation for Centralized service dashboard aggregating status, quick access and infrastructure metrics across the Think ecosystem.
Stability
- Fixed "Sign in with Plex" failing for members who were already signed in to ThinkAuth.
- Fixed ThinkAuth sign-in speed, on top of July's stability fix — some sign-ins still occasionally took up to 30 seconds; they now answer in under a second.
- Retrofitted the entire reverse-proxy fleet off per-repo Helm charts and kustomize onto the shared GitOps template, bringing every live Authentik SSO integration under version control as a blueprint.
- Fixed a configuration fault that had silently prevented ThinkSearch from receiving any deployment updates at all, and switched it and Whoogle to automatic container image updates.
- Retrofitted ThinkTube, Monopoly and Complaints onto the shared GitOps template, so all three are now deployed and updated the same way as the rest of the platform.
- Fixed the automated dependency-update pipeline on several services where it had been configured but silently never running.
- Retrofitted the sign-in configuration for 39 more services under version control, so each one's access rules are now recorded and reviewable instead of living only in the SSO console; existing logins were adopted as-is, with no account or permission changed.
- Fixed Marreta after an upstream update moved the service to a different internal port and took the site offline.
- Fixed Homepage after a configuration change during the SSO rollout wiped its dashboard settings; all tiles, tabs and stats are back.
- Fixed a gap on ThinkCron, which was reachable without signing in; it now requires a Think account like every other tool.
- Fixed automatic container updates on several services where they had been silently doing nothing for some time, including ThinkStats and the quiz app, which had been watching the wrong image entirely.
- Retrofitted every production service onto automatic container updates: every production service now either updates itself on a verified schedule or is deliberately held for manual approval — no service is left silently unpatched.
- Fixed a spell of intermittent sign-in slowness and timeouts on ThinkAuth caused by the SSO servers running out of memory under heavy configuration load; capacity has been increased.
- Upgraded ioT to 2026.8.1
- Upgraded Network to 1.54.
- Retrofitted ThinkCoupons to the standard GitOps template, with automated image updates, a native Authentik SSO blueprint and upgraded its database to PostgreSQL 18.
- Retrofitted Listmonk to the standard GitOps template, with automated image updates and Authentik OIDC and upgraded its database to PostgreSQL 18.
- Retrofitted ThinkFood, including a Helm chart lineage migration, and upgraded its database to PostgreSQL 18.
- Retrofitted Manyfold to the standard GitOps template with Authentik OIDC + proxy SSO, and upgraded its database to PostgreSQL 18.
- Retrofitted ThinkLinks with a native Authentik SSO blueprint and upgraded its database to PostgreSQL 18.
- Fixed weeks of intermittent instability on the cluster management infrastructure, traced to failing storage hardware; replacement parts are on order.
- Fixed a local data-loss incident on 2026-08-09, caused by a runaway AI coding assistant task; all critical work was safely recovered from backup, with only one small unfinished draft lost. New guardrails and daily automated backups are now in place to prevent a repeat.
- Upgraded main NAS to 7.3.3
- Upgraded secondary NAS to 7.3.3
