7.10.4.1 — August 2026
Phases
- Phase 7.10 — Consolidation and feature parity begins.
Services
- Released a dedicated backup service on separate hardware from the machines it protects, storing deduplicated nightly copies of every workload.
- Released automated shutdown on utility power loss, so machines close down cleanly instead of losing power mid-write; the appliances meant to do this had silently been switched off.
- Added nightly scheduled backups with retention, weekly space reclamation and weekly integrity verification, replacing copies that had to be started by hand.
- Added a verified restore test: a full workload was restored from backup, started in isolation and checked byte-for-byte against the running original.
Stability
- Fixed the internal name service, which still pointed at decommissioned servers, had no entries for the new hardware, and returned wrong hostnames for live devices.
