Changelog

7.10.8.58 — September 2026

Stability

  • Upgraded the source-code and build platform to its current release, closing several published security advisories.
  • Fixed that upgrade stopping midway on a database step, caused by a system setting naming a language pack the machine did not have installed.
  • Fixed the deployment system restarting every thirty seconds under memory pressure, which stalled automated delivery across both clusters.
  • Upgraded the deployment system together with its image-update and progressive-delivery components.
  • Upgraded the distributed storage platform on both clusters, and the backup and provisioning operators on the management cluster.
  • Fixed build runners restarting in a loop, caused by running a version far behind the platform they connect to.
  • Retrofitted seven build-runner repositories onto the current pipeline template, aligning their build and deployment configuration.
  • Fixed a network reservation that published a server under a decommissioned machine's identity, at an address where nothing answered.
  • Retrofitted ninety-eight repositories onto the current pipeline template, aligning how each one builds, deploys and tracks its dependencies.
  • Fixed a build check that ran against a container recipe in repositories that do not have one, failing them on a file that was never meant to exist.
  • Fixed a repository whose release-notes step could never run, because the tools it installs had been folded into a line the shell could not execute.
  • Fixed a packaging step producing an unnamed archive, caused by a version identifier that had never been defined in that repository.

Documentation

  • Documentation of the retrofit, recording that the pipeline-completeness check only inspects stages and had been masking repositories missing a third of their jobs.
