Changelog

7.10.11.75 — September 2026

Services

  • Released ThinkForms — relational spreadsheets with typed columns, Python formulas, and publishable forms.
  • Added Three times more request headroom for bulk repository operations, so large fleet-wide jobs no longer risk tripping the platform's own rate limit.
  • Added An automated guard that restores backup job time limits after storage upgrades silently drop them.
  • Added Processor capacity on three nodes that had been running below their allocation, without downtime.

Stability

  • Retrofitted The source-code platform's data drive into a proper enclosure, replacing an exposed adapter cable, at the same 5 Gbps link speed.
  • Fixed Days of intermittent control-plane failures on the production cluster, where storage replica traffic and the cluster database competed for a single filesystem.
  • Retrofitted Two worker nodes onto dedicated storage disks, isolating replica traffic from the operating system and container runtime.
  • Fixed Four application filesystems left read-only by a storage transport fault, restoring object storage and three databases with no data lost.
  • Fixed A reclaim gap that stranded 2.4 TB of freed space and left one disk pool at 95 percent, with reclaim now running daily instead of weekly.
  • Fixed Container image and snapshot debris across all eleven production nodes, reclaiming roughly 297 GB.
  • Retrofitted Every node in both clusters with the restart cleanup hook that prevents stale container processes.

Documentation

  • Documentation of ThinkForms — quick start, FAQ, architecture, why Grist was chosen, and the selection research.
  • Documentation of The storage and database separation, with the incidents before, during and after, and the work still outstanding.
